annnnnnnnd you had me at Sabbath. (officially now a paid subscriber!) Rest is something I have to fight for in my life (and in my wiring). It's a passion of mine, though, and I want to grow and inspire others to practice it well, too. Excited to glean from this series! Thank you for modeling this well, Annie (and with reiterating the truth that it's a practice, and the goal isn't legalistic nor perfection)
"So, what if we got this practice in place this summer when it is what culture is talking about anyways, and then carried it into the fall?" and "Sabbath is for us all." So good!
I'm excited about this series! I'm an associate pastor who really struggles to find time for sabbath in my life on a regular basis. This feels especially timely as my senior pastor is taking a sabbatical this summer. I KNOW I need to cultivate better rhythms of rest in my life.
This is so timely. I started summer break a couple of weeks ago as a teacher, and while I’ve done well getting into routines and rhythms around my goals for the summer, I forgot to incorporate rest. I also realized I don’t really know what I view as rest as a mom of two young daughters. Thank you and your team for speaking Biblical truth in a loud world that demands constant productivity.
I'm so excited for these episodes! Having a non traditional work week makes a full 24 hr Sabbath a challenge in some seasons and a breeze in others, mix in a husband with a different work schedule and kids...I'm always looking for different Sabbath practices that can be implemented in my life.
I wanted to ask if having a fiancé has impacted how or when you sabbath but also wasn't sure that we needed to know.
I am looking forward to the series. Being a caregiver doesn’t really give me time for a full 24 hours rest, however, I am getting better and some half days on Saturday’s.

Love that you said "cultivate." We're practicing, right?! A little stronger every day!

Different seasons definitely look different as far as Sabbath goes!
